What most sellers do is once they’ve got a hit SKU they say: “Great, now I need to find another hit!” and start searching in a new niche.
But you don’t NEED to find another hit.
You already HAVE a hit sitting in front of you.
If you’re Mariah Carey and you’ve got “All I Want for Christmas Is You”, are you gonna play your new stuff at your concert?
Heck no!
You’ve already GOT a star product!
Instead of trying to replicate success elsewhere (which is hard and unpredictable) expand on the existing initial success.
If it’s a hot-selling red mug, roll out the mug in blue and yellow.
Make a red kids size.
Make a red jumbo size.
Make a red mug that’s print-on-demand FBM.
Expand on the existing success.
If you’ve struck oil, don’t stop drilling.
Same goes with each Seller Central tactic.
Say you’ve got an Amazon PPC keyword that’s printing money for you.
“red mug ceramic”
Double down:
– crank up the bids on this thing
– give it its own manual campaign
– find minor variations of the keyword and run those
– if it spends $30/day now, could it spend $300?
If you do this in every aspect of your FBA business, I promise things will go well.
