The benefits of selling on Amazon Canada – Amazon FBA Canada
Some people hate Crocs.
Personally, I’m a fan.
– they’re ugly (but in the same way that a pug is ugly)
– they’re comfortable
– they do $3.6 billion in annual revenue off of 1 parent SKU, a testament to focus. It’s like Porsche in the sense that the main product “silhouette” hasn’t changed in decades
– founded in 2002, a testament to sticking with it!

I just picked up my 2nd pair.
The Realtree camo ones.
And I’ll tell you what…
Whenever I’m in a country, I check their sports stores for Crocs.
Here’s what I found:
In Canada, I went to a store called Sporting Life in search of Crocs.
The selection was small.
They didn’t have the Realtree camo.
The prices were high (even AFTER the 1.37x USD:CAD exchange rate).
I didn’t buy.
By contrast:
In the US, I went to Dick’s Sporting Goods.
And I was met with a WALL of Crocs from floor to ceiling.
After wiping away a tear, I browsed the selection: tie die, bedazzled, all standard colors, American flag, and yes… Realtree camo.
Good prices.
I bought.
What I notice:
This Crocs saga is an exact parallel for the Amazon.ca (Canada) vs. Amazon.com (US) websites.
Canada has:
– less selection
– higher prices
This was recently confirmed by my friend and 7-figure Amazon seller David Schomer from the Firing the Man podcast, who said that after expanding his Amazon.com store to Amazon.ca, he could charge 10-15% higher prices to Canadians… who would gladly pay! Canadians are starving for more selection. And will pay a premium for it!
This window will close in the next couple years, so the time to act is now.
